What's Up Right Now

clutter1

This portion of clutter's been here long enough. Let me add a bit of something new here in this space (if you're a corporate entity and would like to buy advertising space here, you can use the contact information and we'll start setting up that retirement account for me and the wife right now!)

I’ve been blogging for over five years, off and on. I enjoy the challenge of letting various thoughts flow out of my head – sometimes serious and heavy, sometimes random and sometimes just downright silly. I’ll cover a variety of topics, although I almost always leave politics alone. (That’s not just a matter of principle, but also a pragmatic choice – I just don’t understand it that much.)

Books I'm reading right now:

  1. Unhallowed Ground: the fourth chronicle of Hugh de Singleton, surgeon by Mel R. Starr
  2. Married Mom, Solo Parent: finding God's strength to face the challenge by Carla Ann Coroy
  3. Charles Haddon Spurgeon Autobiography: the early years, volume 1 by Charles H. Spurgeon
  4. D. M. Lloyd-Jones: the first 40 years, 1899–1939 by Iain Murray
  5. Institutes of the Christian Religion, volume 1 by John Calvin
