Friday Five

Gene Edward Veith (he of Cranach fame and renown) speaks frequently of the need for people, especially Christians, to have a grasp of vocation–the sense of God's calling upon their life for what they are to do with it. Work, is what most of us call it. It's what we do to earn a living. Some people find that place in the work force that enables them to do what they're gifted, able and trained to do well.

Unfortunately, some have a much more difficult time with this. They get "stuck" in jobs they hate, but do because it provides a paycheck, even if it is temporary. Such were some of these (at least as depicted by a German marketing firm that seeks to help you find a better job than these):
